Humanoid robot and factory worker go head-to-head in packing challenge

A human emerged victorious against a robot after they faced off in a packing competition.

Figure AI hosted a 10-hour package contest called “Man vs. Machine”, which saw a factory worker go against their F.03 humanoid bot.

Aimé G, a visualisation specialist at Figure, finished 192 packages ahead of the company's flagship machine, called Bob. He also received meal breaks and paid rest breaks under California labour law.

Notably, the humanoid overtook the human around hour five after the competitor took a bathroom break.

Figure AI CEO Brett Adcock said, “Congrats to Aime!! He said his left forearm is basically broken... This is the last time a human will ever win.”
