
Hungary's average gross earnings growth eased to the lowest level in four months, figures from the Hungarian Central Statistical Office showed on Wednesday.
Average gross earnings grew 9% annually in April, slower than the 9.2% growth in March.
The average gross earnings were 772,165 forints ($2,562) in April compared to 779,752 forints in the previous month.
Net earnings increased by 11.2%, and real earnings were 8.9% higher than a year earlier.
Median gross earnings were 616,700 forints, and median net earnings were 436,400 forints, surpassing the value for the same period of the previous year by 9.1% and 11.1%, respectively.
