KUALA LUMPUR – In a determined pursuit of justice, the Malaysian police are leaving no stone unturned in their efforts to locate and apprehend two Sri Lankan suspects connected to a gruesome murder that sent shockwaves through Sentul. The crime unfolded when three of their compatriots were found brutally slain in a shop. Kuala Lumpur's police chief, Datuk Allaudeen Abdul Majid, has expressed confidence that the fugitives are still lurking in the Klang Valley, and the investigation is now in high gear.

Addressing the media at the Kuala Lumpur Police Headquarters, Allaudeen assured, "I am confident this case will be resolved soon. So far, we have recorded the statements from one of the victim's parents." The commitment to solving this heinous crime is unwavering, as authorities piece together the puzzle of what transpired on that fateful night.

Speculation had arisen over whether the incident was linked to the enduring ethnic conflict in Sri Lanka. However, Allaudeen swiftly dispelled these notions, emphasizing that the murder had no direct ties to the ongoing strife in their homeland. The focus remains solely on bringing the culprits to justice.

The grim discovery occurred late in the evening, with the lifeless bodies of three men found in a storeroom on Jalan Perhentian Kg Kovil Hilir. These victims had been bound and had plastic bags covering their heads, marking a chilling crime scene. Two of the deceased were tenants in a room rented from a Sri Lankan couple in their 40s, while the third victim was their son, painting a tragic and complex picture of the victims' relationships.

On a separate note, the police are also dealing with another concerning incident, the bomb threat directed at Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM). Allaudeen shared that they are awaiting reports from the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission and Cyber Security Malaysia regarding the source of the email threat received by a BNM staff member. Last Wednesday, at around 3 pm, the staff member received the alarming threat via email, triggering a nearly two-hour inspection by the Bomb Disposal Unit of the Royal Malaysian Police. Fortunately, the threat was determined to be a hoax, assuring the public of the central bank's safety.

As the nation watches and waits for the resolution of these events, the Malaysian authorities remain steadfast in their commitment to maintaining law and order and ensuring the safety of all citizens and residents.
