Wolves and Aston Villa played out a 1-1 draw at Molineux in the first Black Country derby of the season.

Hwang Hee-chan struck for Wolves eight minutes after halftime reacting well to a cross from Pedro Leto.

However, Villa will level just two minutes later as defender Pau Torres scored his first goal for the club.

In injury-time, Wolves midfielder Mario Lemina was shown a second yellow card for pulling back Nicolo Zaniolo, so leaving the hosts having to defend with ten-men in the final minutes.

The point moves Wolves up to 14th and four points clear of the relegation zone heading into the international break, while Villa stay fifth.

Hwang later said: "Unfortunately, we didn't win at home. In the second half we had a few good chances. We both played well. We wanted the win but couldn't get it. This game was very tough but we get a very important point. We just look forward to the next game. We have the international break and we get a good rest.

"He [Pedro Neto] is amazing. We understand each other very well. Not just with Neto, but with Cunha and every team player. Our team vibe is very positive. We keep going and try to manage our game. We are going a good way.

"I scored five at the moment. Most important thing is for the team to win. Last week was a big win. We are hungry and can do better. So far we have done very well. We need to keep going like that and get more points."
