KOTA KINABALU: A male worker was found unconscious after inhaling hydrogen sulfide at Kaya Shipyard Sdn. Bhd., KKIP Sepanggar, at 8.49am today.
Kota Kinabalu Fire and Rescue personnel from detected the gas inside a fish container and carried out decontamination and ventilation.
The victim was taken by ambulance to Queen Elizabeth Hospital for treatment. His identity has not been released.
The operation, involving 12 firefighters and Hazmat specialists, ended at 10.39am.
