Malaysia is a highly diverse country. It consists of Malay, Chinese, Indian and a variety of ethnic groups that live in peace and harmony. This diversity can be seen in the food and the way of life here, making it a true melting pot of cultures with diverse ethnicities, languages, and religions. The most important festivals of each group is considered a public holiday in Malaysia.

I am proud to be a Malaysian as we live in a peaceful country. I can explore modern cities, and villages, enjoy beautiful beaches, and hike through lush green jungles. Malaysia has a variety of delicious food and drinks, a good transportation system, a stable education system and a stable government. Apart from this, Malaysia is also an attractive tourist destination that contributes to the country's economy.

As a Malaysian, I have a duty to carry for my country, and that is to make my country proud. One of the methods to show our love for the country is by displaying the national flag at every house and office building on 31st August. Furthermore, you will see Malaysians display the national flag on top of their cars with different decorations and designs. In Malaysia, we have a good culture that is a reflection of the nation. It is important to determine the factors of how the community respond. In Malaysia, we always address individuals as Encik or Cik (Mr. or Ms.), which is typical in Malaysia and shows respect. Culture gives us a sense of belonging, especially when everyone speaks the same language.

Furthermore, Malaysia is rich in natural resources such as natural rubber, palm oil and timber. Malaysia is considered one of the top exporters and natural resources contribute to Malaysia's economy. Besides, I love my hometown Simpang Renggam in Johor as it has a beautiful pineapple farm, the king of fruits “Durian”, and breathtaking scenery. Not only that, Malaysia also has amazing food and drinks such as nasi lemak, cendol, roti canai, chicken rice, laksa, kopi, and noodle at affordable prices and delicious tastes. There is no doubt in my mind that Malaysia is one of the best countries to spend my life. Hence, I am here to share what I love about being a Malaysian. I love my country Malaysia and I am proud to be a Malaysian.
