Charles Wolf recalls kissing his wife goodbye on the morning of September 11, 2001, before never hearing from her again.
Katherine Wolf started a new position at the insurance firm Marsh & McLennan on the 97th floor of One World Trade Center just weeks earlier.
According to Charles, American Airlines Flight 11 crashed directly into Katherine’s office.
“They never knew it was coming,” Charles told The Independent. “ All I can say is thank God I didn't hear from her again, because that way I know that she never knew what happened.”
