In the video, the man can be heard asking a series of questions to the woman about Malaysia. One of the first things he asked was, “Do you like Malaysia?” and the woman responded enthusiastically, saying, “I love Malaysia!”

What really caught the attention of netizens and made the interview interesting was when they both started to converse in Malay.

The woman shared that she’d been to Malaysia before. She went there as an assistant to a Japanese teacher who was teaching at a high school.

When asked where she stayed during her time teaching in Malaysia, she mentioned staying in Dungun, Terengganu.

“I spent 7 months living in Malaysia. I’d say the best part of my time there was getting to meet so many new people, teachers, students, who felt like my own family. They were all so friendly and welcoming, and I grew to love them all so much.”

The woman also remembered a challenging experience during her time in Malaysia, which was trying to master the Terengganu dialect.

“Getting the hang of the Terengganu dialect was quite a challenge. There were times when I struggled to communicate with the locals. Despite my efforts to learn, I could only manage to speak a little bit.”

Netizens started flooding the comment section, as they were impressed by the woman’s ability to speak Malay.
