From the iconic “Malaysia Truly Asia” to the whimsical tunes of “Paddle Pop,” Atilia Haron is no stranger to Malaysians as she is the voice to many popular yet classic jingles back in the 2000s. Just recently, the singer and songwriter herself has posted a video, meeting another icon, Suhaili.

For those who are unfamiliar, Suhaili is a former RTM English news reader and the voice behind all the LRT station announcements! Looking at the video, the queen of classic jingles came in contact with Suhaili! In her video Atilia said,

“If you were impressed by me singing, Malaysia Truly Asia, Paddle Pop and KFC, check out this lady next to me.”

Atilia then panned the camera towards Suhaili and asked her to say something on camera. Without hesitation, Suhaili started announcing the train stations. Impressed with how clean and clear her voice is Atilia couldn’t help but praise her for how iconic and legendary she is.
