Exam pattern: Two tiers without an interview stage.
Prelims: 100-mark objective test measuring speed and accuracy in English, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning.
Mains: 200-mark online test covering General/Financial Awareness, General English, Reasoning/Computer Aptitude, and Quantitative Aptitude.
Qualifying jobs: Recruits into the single-window clerical cadre, officially redesigned under the new naming convention as Customer Service Associate (CSA), across public sector banks.
Eligibility criteria: Must possess a Graduation degree and basic proficiency in the official regional language of the state/UT applied for. Age limits are capped between 20 and 28 years (plus category relaxations).
Job profile: First point of public contact, handling cash deposits/withdrawals, opening accounts, updating ledgers, and resolving day-to-day digital banking issues.
Remuneration (Pay): Basic starting scale is Rs 19,900 per month. Total gross salary scales out to roughly Rs 32,000 to Rs 35,000 per month depending heavily on localised city allowances.
Training: Includes a brief, 1-week structural orientation on the host bank’s proprietary software platform (like Finacle or BANCS) followed by 6 months of active probation.
