A 29-year-old ice truck driver was injured after his vehicle collided with a trailer lorry along Jalan Berungis, opposite YKL Borong Runcit, early Thursday morning.
The Tuaran Fire and Rescue Station dispatched nine personnel to the scene, located four kilometres away, following a distress call received at 2.55am.
Firefighters extricated the victim, who suffered leg injuries, from the wreckage.
He was handed over to Health Ministry personnel and transported to Tuaran Hospital by ambulance for further treatment before the operation concluded at 3.25am.
