SIPITANG: Sindumin Assemblyman, Datuk Dr Yusof Yacob, urged community leaders to identify poor and dilapidated houses in their respective areas so they can get assistance.

He instructed the People’s Care Unit under the supervision of the Assemblyman Service Centre to help repair and provide immediate assistance to villagers’ homes which had been reported to the Village Development Committee (JPKK) and Mukim Developers.

He said every resident is entitled to a proper home especially the poor who do not have fixed income.

“Don’t let the resident’s house be torn down but repair or replace it,” he said, when he visited with his wife Ismail Okiri’s house in Kampung Sungai Tiga which was damaged by a fallen tree.
