Ignazio Abate has been named new AC Milan Primavera coach.
Abate has been moved from his role as U16s coach to the coach of the Primavera team.
He led the U16s to the Scudetto final last season and has now been rewarded for that promising work.
Abate is a former Milan defender, having come through the the club's youth system.
The defender made almost 250 appearances for the Rossonero during his playing career.
