Two motorcyclists were killed while two others were seriously injured after racing against each other at Kilometre 51.1 of the South Klang Valley Expressway (SKVE) on June 26 (Wednesday).
South Klang District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Ramli Kasa, said the incident occurred around 11 PM when all the victims were riding their motorcycles from the direction of Laguna Park, Pulau Indah.

Ramli explained that all four riders were suspected to be speeding when two of them are believed to have grazed each other, causing both to lose control and fall onto the road, according to Sinar Harian.
He added that the other two motorcycles, which were coming from behind, failed to brake in time and crashed into the fallen bikes.
“As a result of the crash, a 15-year-old student and a 25-year-old man were pronounced dead at the scene. Meanwhile, two others, including another 15-year-old student and a 24-year-old man, sustained serious injuries and were taken to Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital in Klang for further treatment.”
“Never let children take part in illegal street racing”
Ramli also reminded parents and guardians to stay vigilant and monitor their children’s movements and activities, especially during late hours.
“Never allow your children to ride motorcycles without a valid license or take part in illegal street racing, as it endangers not only their lives but also the lives of others,” he stressed.
The case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987. Members of the public with any information about the incident are urged to come forward and assist in the investigation by contacting Investigating Officer Inspector Nizam Abdul Talib at 03-33722222.
