AKSB uncovers 45 illegal water connections in Pasir Mas, vowing ongoing ops to curb theft and reduce non-revenue water losses.

KOTA BHARU: A total of 45 houses in the Prima Lubok Jong residential area in Pasir Mas were found to have illegal water supply connections.

Air Kelantan Sdn Bhd (AKSB) said the activity was uncovered through prevention and monitoring operations conducted yesterday to ensure water supply usage was legitimate and complied with stipulated regulations.

“Inspections revealed that 45 houses had illegal connections or water usage that required further action by AKSB.

“Monitoring and enforcement operations will continue from time to time to curb illegal connection activities and minimise the issue of non-revenue water (NRW) for AKSB,” it said in a statement today.
