A video currently circulating on social media shows massive traffic congestion near a Ramadhan Bazaar in KL, as vehicles are seen illegally parked by the roadside.

In the video shared on the Facebook group Malaysian Land Public Transport Fans, a 3-lane road consequently turned into a single-lane road after a large group of riders parked their vehicles at the roadside, which took up almost 2 of 3 lanes.

In the comment section, it was revealed that the matter happened over the weekend at Wangsa Maju’s Ramadhan Bazaar.

A white car was also parked by the roadside before it was surrounded by parked motorcycles.

Traffic became even more congested when more riders double-parked, forcing cars to merge into the right lane. In the back, multiple buses were also parked at the roadside near the bus station at the LRT Wangsa Maju.

Social media users were NOT happy about the situation

One user suggested visitors take public transport if they plan to visit the Ramadhan Bazaar there.

“Please don’t trouble others.”

“When they break fast, 50% of the meals would be discarded, which is a huge waste.”

“How are the bus drivers going to exit the area? The riders are so stupid.”

Another user compared the situation to the traffic in Jakarta, Indonesia.

“You shouldn’t have parked there when you knew there was a bus stop. I pity those who take the bus and the bus drivers.”

To those living in the area, what do you think of the traffic? What about the traffic in other areas? Do share with us the traffic conditions at the Ramadhan Bazaars in your area.
