
KUALA PENYU: A total of 57 foreigners were detained out of 81 individuals screened during an integrated enforcement operation at two foreign settlements here on Wednesday, Info X reported.
The midnight operation was carried out by Immigration officers from Kota Kinabalu, Sipitang, and Tenom districts.
Sabah Immigration Director Datuk SH Sitti Saleha Habib Yusoff said the raid followed a month-long intelligence operation and public complaints.

They are being held at the Papar Immigration Detention Depot, while further action will also be taken against those employing or harbouring undocumented migrants.
