Kota Kinabalu: BE In Sabah 2025 Organising Chairperson Datuk Dr Rosmawati Lasuki underscored the profound impact of business events beyond just meetings and gatherings.

She emphasised that the true success of such events lies in the opportunities they generate, the industries they strengthen and the lasting legacies they leave behind.

The real impact of business events is not measured by the number of meetings we host, but by the opportunities we create, the industries we strengthen and the legacies we leave behind,” she said at the opening of the 2nd International Business Events Forum - BE In Sabah 2025 at Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC) here.

Dr Rosmawati highlighted the core mission of BE In Sabah–to facilitate connections, bridge industries and lay the groundwork for strategic partnerships that will propel economic growth, knowledge exchange and long-term development.

“This investment in professional development reflects our long-term vision — to build a strong, sustainable and internationally competitive business events ecosystem in Sabah,” she noted.

Dr Rosmawati, who is also the Malaysian Association of Convention and Exhibition Organisers and Suppliers (Maceos) Sabah Chair, commended all stakeholders and participants for their dedication to professional excellence, expressing confidence that BE In Sabah 2025 will serve as a catalyst for groundbreaking developments in the business events industry.
