When I hear Tun Zaki's presentation based on his diary of experiences, I thought I was listening to one of the best leadership books. Whether it's a strategic shift in the marketplace, loss of market share, or a merger or acquisition, leaders need to step up and lead. He pushes back against conventional wisdom to give MWC 2026 participants, new & practical tools for creating an unstoppable organization in the face of change. This bright, innovative, tested approach shows how conversations are the ‘carriers of a new generic code’ and the right engagement can trigger business growth.
I found Tun Zaki's keynote address entitled “Swift and Sue: Cultivating Sharp Thoughts and Discerning Judgements” an indispensable resource for leaders and aspiring leaders. Direct, inspiring and practical. He revealed, “In law when I do not understand anything, I start from the text book. I always ask the questions why, when, which & how. I read & learn from experts. This is no difference from management. You cannot make a managerial decision if you do not know what the facts are. Once the facts have been established then you apply your experience and knowledge to the facts.”
