Ah, it's always a delightful spectacle to witness the circus of incompetence within Anwar's cabinet.

RPK, the master of words, is right on point with his cynical commentary. Fahmi Fadzil seems to have a special talent for digging holes, and he's not just burying himself; he's dragging Anwar's entire family down there with him.

Bravo, Fahmi! You've managed to unite pro-Pakatan Harapan and PKR supporters in criticizing you. That's quite the achievement.

And the lies – oh, the lies! Denying the PKR's involvement with Liberal International when there's a letter dated 2017 inviting them to their anniversary in Andorra?

It's almost admirable how they twist the truth. If this is the level of competence in Anwar's Cabinet, we might as well prepare for Malaysia's descent into Third World status.

Lim Kit Siang's prophecy of a failed state doesn't seem too far-fetched now. But hey, at least they're consistent in their ineptitude.

The implications of this situation for Anwar's government are quite significant. Here are a few key points to consider:

• Political Damage: The criticism and embarrassment faced by Communications and Digital Minister Fahmi Fadzil reflect poorly on the Anwar Ibrahim-led government. It not only highlights the internal disarray but also erodes the credibility and reputation of the government, especially when it involves the Prime Minister's own family members.

• Internal Strife: This public feud and infighting within the Cabinet can lead to internal divisions and instability within the government. It may undermine the government's ability to make coherent decisions and implement policies effectively.

• Loss of Public Trust: When government officials are seen as dishonest or incompetent, it erodes public trust. The failure to address such issues can damage the government's credibility and lead to a loss of public support.

• Potential Leadership Challenges: If the situation continues to deteriorate, there may be calls for Anwar Ibrahim, as the head of the government, to take action against erring Cabinet members or to address the growing dissatisfaction within his own party. Failure to do so could lead to leadership challenges or even party defections.

• Impact on International Relations: If Fahmi Fadzil's actions have implications for Malaysia's international relations, it could create diplomatic challenges. Anwar's government may need to engage in damage control to maintain its standing on the global stage.

In sum, although Anwar has addressed Parliament on this issue, the ongoing controversies and missteps within Anwar's government can weaken its stability, credibility, and public support, making it challenging for the government to effectively govern and deliver on its promises. It may also impact the political landscape and Anwar's own leadership within the party and government.
