What would you do if you or your family members found out that your spouse is cheating on you?
Most people would get angry and perhaps get a divorce, but not this man in India.
According to a report by Times Now, a man in Bihar, India, held a marriage ceremony for his wife and her secret lover after they were caught together by his relatives.
The man was out of town during the time in which his relatives had walked in on his wife and her lover in their bedroom. With that, the cheating duo was forced into a marriage ceremony by her original husband, his family and the village residents.
In a video showcased on Twitter, the marriage ceremony was held in accordance with Hindu customs.
The cheating woman, who seemed extremely reluctant to marry her lover, was held by the back of the head and shoulders by an elderly woman, seemingly to prevent the cheating woman from rejecting the marriage.
Apparently, the original husband of the woman had found out about her secret lover merely 3 days after they had gotten married. Despite this, she and her original husband went on to have 2 children together while he tried to convince her to drop her lover.
It was only when the original husband’s relatives discovered the affair did all hell break loose. The original husband was called to return home while the villagers had beaten up the secret lover as he did not want to marry the woman.
The original husband then made the ultimate decision to marry off his wife to her secret lover, which was allegedly inspired by the 1999 Indian movie, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam.
