  • CCTV footage shows a man pulling out a handgun and pointing it at the 88-year-old politician, but security personnel quickly tackled and subdued the assailant.
  • Police identified the detained suspect as 63-year-old Kamal Singh Jamwal, who allegedly confessed to the attempt, citing a 'personal agenda' and claiming he had planned it for two decades.
