
KUALA LUMPUR – A 6.4-magnitude earthquake was detected off the coast of North Sumatra, Indonesia near the city of Padang Sidempuan at 10.59pm Malaysia time this evening.
The alert was issued by Indonesia’s geophysics agency BMKG with the notice that there will no potential of any tsunami from the earthquake.
The location of earthquake is located 82-km southwest of the city, with a depth of 102km, the agency said – The Vibes, April 3, 2023
