According to APAD, the decision to suspend both platforms came after they were discovered to have breached their license restrictions under the Land Public Transport Act 2010 (Act 715), which requires all eHailing cars to carry a valid eHailing Vehicle Permit (EVP).Earlier, the Malaysian P-Hailing Riders Association reportedly urged the government to enforce regulations against Maxim and Indriver for their continued operation despite violating existing rules.
