[Updated on 9 October 2026, as Infinix has revised its pricing since the initial announcement]
Infinix has another budget smartphone option for Malaysians, the Infinix Smart 20e. Joining the Infinix Smart 20 that launched in April, this entry-level device puts the focus on durability, with a reinforced structure, an IP64 dust and splash resistance rating and MIL-STD-810H shock-resistance testing. Infinix also says it survived drops of up to 1.5 metres in its own lab tests.
The Infinix Smart 20e houses a 6.75-inch IPS display pushing a HD+ resolution, capable of a 120Hz refresh rate and 700nits of peak brightness, with rain-responsive touch to keep it usable when wet. It’s powered by a Unisoc T7250 system-on-chip, an entry-level octa-core processor, mated to 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage, with a microSD card slot for up to 2TB more. It runs Android 16 out of the box, skinned with XOS 16.3 over it.
As for its cameras, the Infinix Smart 20e comes with an 8MP main camera on the back and a 5MP selfie camera up front, both capable of 2K video recording at 30fps. You’ll also find a 5,000mAh battery with 10W wired charging, along with a battery self-healing feature that Infinix says helps slow down battery ageing under specific charging conditions. Other features of note include a mono speaker with a 200% volume boost, Flash Sharing for tap-to-transfer with compatible Transsion devices, the Instant Transfer app for sharing files with iPhones, as well as 4.5G, WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.2 and NFC support.
The Infinix Smart 20e starts at RM499 for the base model with 64GB of storage, while the 128GB model is priced at RM549. Available in Deep Cherry, Hush Blue, Silver Dance and Night Pulse, you can get the Smart 20e from 9 October onwards via the official Infinix stores on Shopee and TikTok Shop, as well as Infinix Brand Stores nationwide.
