Tuaran: The Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports is committed towards implementing various strategies to increase employment opportunities for youths in the country.
Its Minister, Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu, said among the new initiatives taken are the Youth Career (Y-Career) and Skill for Youth (S-4-Y) programmes which are a platform to create jobs and gives intensive training with industries with a view to giving them employment later.
He was speaking at the 2022 National Youth Day officiated by the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob at the town padang here, Saturday.
