In reviewing the feedback by panelists and delegates who attended the Student Dialogue on 25 April, organized by MyAeroSatu at the MPM Conference Hall KL, an ad-hoc evaluation on its outcome was held at the Publika. It was attended by MyAeroSatu Chairman Prof Dr. Haji Zulkifly Baharom, Secretary Dzul Bahrin Asmawi, Treasurer Najmi Rahimi Muzni, and Auditor Adi Satria Ahmad. The consensus reached in their deliberations was that innovation and entrepreneurship are thus needed in society as much as in the economy, in public-service, and the higher learning institutions as much as in businesses.

MyAeroSatu felt, “It precisely because innovation and entrepreneurship are not “root and branch” but “one step at a time,” a product here, a policy there, a public service yonder; because they're not planned but focused on this opportunity and that need; because they're tentative and will disappear if they do not produce the expected and needed results. In other words, they're pragmatic rather than dogmatic & modest rather than grandiose - that they promise to keep any society, economy, industry, public service, or business flexible and self-renewing. What we need is an entrepreneurial society, among students & new graduates in which innovation and entrepreneurship are normal, steady & continual. It must become an integral life-sustaining activity in society.”

Prof Zul who double-up as the World Union of Small and Medium Enterprises (WUSME) Ambassador in Malaysia, said “Student entrepreneurship is highly significant as a driver of economic growth, innovation, personal development. It fosters essential soft skills like resilience, time management creates jobs & allows students to turn academic knowledge into market-ready, innovative solutions. This hands-on experience prepares them for future business."

Based on his experience as a management educator, Prof Zul, added “Students often bring fresh, youthful perspectives that disrupt traditional industries with new ideas. They leverage technology and academic insights to develop novel, fast solutions. Students learn to navigate uncertainty, transforming theoretical knowledge into practical expertise. Student startups contribute directly to the economy by generating employment and attracting investment.”
