KOTA BELUD: The government is stepping up efforts to support rural entrepreneurs in Sabah through the Insken Campus Sabah Open Day (Hati) Series 4/2025, organised by the National Entrepreneurship Institute under the  Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives Ministry.

Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives Minister Datuk Ewon Benedick (pic) said the programme highlights the government’s commitment to building an inclusive and balanced entrepreneurship ecosystem that reaches communities in rural areas.

The Insken Campus in Sabah was set up to ensure access to knowledge, technology and business support for all levels of society, particularly entrepreneurs in the state.

This series of programmes focuses on technology adoption, including the use of artificial intelligence to help small traders and hawkers manage their businesses more efficiently.

The Kota Belud edition follows a recent event in Sepanggar, which involved more than 260 entrepreneurs, and continues to provide training and guidance opportunities to strengthen resilience and competitiveness in the digital age.
