Inter Milan intend to send Romelu Lukaku back to Chelsea.
La Gazzetta dello Sport says Inter chiefs are now leaning towards cutting loose Lukaku and pursuing another centre-forward signing.
Lukaku hasn't lived up to expectations this season. Inter chief exec Giuseppe Marotta recently stated it was too early to consider Lukaku's future.
But now Inter are planning a future without Lukaku - they have no intention of negotiating with Chelsea to keep the 29-year-old, neither permanently nor via a new loan.
Inter instead will focus on signing a young striker who can develop and cost less in terms of wages.
