Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi was relieved after their Champions League win against Porto.
Romelu Lukaku struck the winner with Otavio being sent off for Porto.
Inzaghi said, We played well against a very physical side. There are regrets that we failed to convert some of the first half chances, while we ran some risks after the break on the counter-attack, but the substitutions helped.
We wanted to do something more, but it was a great performance in the circumstances. We should've been quicker moving the ball around and building out from the back. It wasn't easy with Porto pressing so aggressively, but we still deserved to take the lead in the first half."
Lukaku and Marcelo Brozovic came off the bench, while Robin Gosens also shook things up.
Inzaghi added, They all came on well, I need everyone's contribution and we know there are many games to play this season, so everyone will get their chance."
