Inter Milan defender Stefan de Vrij admits they must improve after their friendly defeat to Villarreal.
Inter were beaten on Saturday by the LaLiga outfit.
De Vrij said, “There is still a long way to go and a lot to improve, especially in the non-possession phase.
"We need to improve and keep working, we are aware that this is not enough. Today did not go very well, not as we wanted. We cannot be happy with the results of the friendlies and the too many goals conceded, we need to improve.
"The fans? They charge us, they have always been and are always present wherever we go."
