Inter Milan GM Beppe Marotta is set to enter talks with Chelsea about Romelu Lukaku.
Lukaku is on-loan with Inter this season, though the deal doesn't carry a permanent option.
Despite an injury-plagued campaign, Inter wish to keep hold of the centre-forward - though Marotta is insisting on only an extension of the loan for another season.
Marotta will also seek to talk down the fee for another 12 month arrangement.
For his part, Lukaku is reluctant to return to his parent club and is happy and settled in Milan.
