Inter Milan GM Beppe Marotta admits they're delighted with the progress of the team under coach Simone Inzaghi.
While there's been recent stumbles, Marotta says Inzaghi retains their full trust.
We have 18 players on international duty. This means that the squad is very strong," said Marotta. "After the loss against Sassuolo, the victory in Salerno, and the draw with Bologna, I can say we're in an interlocutory phase of the season.
But I can only be optimistic and content with Inzaghi's work. He has proven with the results and performances that he is a good coach who can manage our team.
It's a long journey, we need to have patience, evaluate and understand the mistakes to try to improve."
