Inter Milan hero Nicola Berti admits he's a big fan of Nicolo Barella.
Berti says Barella has Ballon d'Or potential and Inter must resist any offer from the likes of Manchester City.
He told Il Corriere dello Sport: "He's in very good form, in the first half (against Atletico Madrid) Inter were attacking close to where I was positioned and I really realised the fury he has within him. A crazy player, as I've maintained for time. Then I think that Barella still has room for improvement.
"In his role, he is the best in Europe: I would give him the Ballon d'Or."
To the hypothesis that the former Cagliari player will be sacrificed in the transfer market', Berti expressed: "I hope not: he, Lautaro and Dumfries must be armoured. Then certain clubs, such as for example the Manchester City have the means to launch an assault on a player of Barella's level.
"But I hope that Inter resists. Also because the team can do better than last year, and with these results they are sending a new message to Europe."
