Inter Milan legend Sandro Mazzola says he won't hold a grudge if Romelu Lukaku moves to Juventus.
Inter have angrily pulled out of talks to sign their former loanee permanently after learning Chelsea were in negotiations with Juve.
Inter fans are furious, but Mazzola told La Gazzetta dello Sport: "The boy has always been attached to the Inter shirt, he said he wanted to play with us.
"It's really inexplicable. Big Rom at Juve despite the controversy? Everything is forgotten with the first goal, and he's one who scores."
The former striker then added: "I've always liked him, despite everything, I'm rooting for him even if his worlds and that of Juventus seemed impossible to meet. I don't want him to do badly, I'll be happy even if he scores for Juventus."
