Inter Milan owners Suning have taken a new step in the process of selling up.
Sportmediaset says Suning have mandated Los Angeles law firm Latham & Watkins to manage the legalities of the sale of Inter.
The Zhang family are seeking buyers for the Nerazzurri, having recently given mandates to US banks Raine Group and Goldman Sachs to help with the sale of the club. Latham & Watkins will seemingly take care of the specific legal aspects of a takeover.
It's been reported Suning want to complete the sale before May 2024, when they'll have to pay €275m back to Oaktree due to a loan made at a 12% interest rate.
