Inter Milan president Steven Zhang praised coach Simone Inzaghi after victory at Champions League opponents Viktoria Plzen.
The 4-0 win sees Inter reach the round of 16.
“The coach is excellent, very resilient and when faced with difficulties he was able to overcome them," Zhang told Sky Sport Italia.
“We all saw the quality of our squad and our coach.
“Every year we try to improve the squad and this summer we did our best to make the team even more competitive. (Milan) Skriniar is not for sale and he knows how much I want him to remain.
“I am confident we will be able to keep hold of him."
