Edin Dzeko is set to leave Inter Milan at the end of the season.
The veteran striker is inside the final year of his current contract at Inter.
FCInterNews says Inter will open talks about a new contract with Dzeko after the World Cup - but it's unlikely that an agreement will be found, with the club still working to reduce their wage bill.
The 36-year-old has already started receiving some approaches from foreign clubs, namely from the MLS and Saudi Arabia.
However, Dzeko would prefer to stay in Europe for at least another year before making the jump.
