Inter Milan Treble winner Marco Materazzi admits he likes the idea of winning the Scudetto in the derby against AC Milan.
Materazzi says such a feat would go down in history.
Materazzi told Sportmediaset: "I'm not interested in the points record, I prefer to win it in the derby. Records are made to be broken, instead winning a scudetto in the derby would remain in history."
Asked about the current team and his Treble winners Matrix also said: "They are comparable as a group: we have fun together and we want to be together. In my opinion, those of now play better even if a match against us would be uncomfortable for them too... With all due respect to those who are writing history of the second saddle, if I go and see who we had, I find people like Maicon, Zanetti, Cambiasso, Stankovic, Eto'o, Milito, Thiago Motta, Lucio, Samuel, Cordoba or Julio Cesar and it makes a bit of an impression.
"But I have to say that those now play really well."
