Inter Milan vice-president Javier Zanetti says Marcus Thuram is the big surprise this season.
Thuram played a key role in their Scudetto triumph in his first season with Inter.
Zanetti said: "I think Thuram (was the big surprise), we didn't expect him to adapt so quickly to a new championship and find this harmony with Lautaro and the team.
"Then also Pavard, who however has more experience. All the new players were decisive, from Sommer to Frattesi."
On Nicolo Barella, he added: "Extraordinary championship, as a true leader and driving force, defensively and offensively. Always at the service of the team."
