Kota Kinabalu: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor said that the establishment of an international wellness centre here reflects investors' confidence in the state.

The newly launched European Wellness facility at Alam Mesra is poised to elevate Sabah's position in the niche medical wellness tourism sector, he said in a report.

Researchers from around the world are expected to collaborate and share their expertise in medicine and sciences at this centre. Medical wellness, with its promising returns, contributes significantly to healthcare advancements, he said.

This initiative not only enhances conventional healthcare but also combines cutting-edge medical science with the healing power of Sabah's natural environment, he added.
