- The public prosecutor’s office in Poland says investigators are treating a drive-by shooting in Krakow's main market square on Saturday as a “terrorist offence” after six people, including a British national, were killed.
- At least 16 other people were injured during the attack, including two police officers and the 24-year-old suspect who engaged in a shootout with armed police.
- Interior Minister Marcin Kierwiński said that the suspect was wearing tactical attire, armed with a military-style rifle, and had been influenced by radical far-right ideologies.
- Three additional bodies, believed to be members of the suspect's immediate family, were discovered by counterterrorism officers at his home in Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski.
- Krakow mayor Łukasz Gibała declared that the city will observe an official period of mourning until Wednesday following the tragedy.
