AT FIRST City University College, we are committed to making higher education more accessible and affordable for students from all walks of life.

We understand that the decision to pursue tertiary education is a significant one – especially when factors such as distance, affordability, and access to opportunity come into consideration.

Students who performed well in their SPM or equivalent examinations are eligible for generous Merit Study Awards.

For instance, students enrolling in diploma programmes can receive up to RM10,000 in tuition fee waivers if they score 10As and above.

For bachelor’s degree applicants, the incentives are even more substantial: 10As and above will qualify for a RM12,000 tuition fee waiver, while 9As receive RM10,000. To encourage more students to begin their studies with confidence, First City University College is offering a Special Tuition Grant of RM1,000 for new local students enrolling in full-time degree or diploma programmes in 2025.

This initiative promotes academic continuity and supports students seeking a better academic fit or aiming to continue their education without financial strain.

Students who maintain good academic performance during their studies are also rewarded through the Bursary Awards.

Diploma and degree students who achieve a CGPA of 3.33 and above are eligible to receive bursaries ranging from RM300 to RM1,200 per semester.

These ongoing incentives provide meaningful encouragement for students to stay consistent in their academic efforts while alleviating semester-to-semester financial stress.

Beyond academic performance, First City University College also provides additional financial support through sibling incentives and postgraduate discounts, ensuring that deserving students can focus on their academic journey without being hindered by financial constraints.

These support schemes reflect the university’s broader mission: to cultivate future-ready graduates by investing in both academic and personal potential.

As part of our ongoing efforts to make education accessible, we are proud to introduce the #firstcityuc #edusupport 2025 Student Incentives, offered alongside the Study Awards 2025.

Together, these initiatives offer up to 100 per cent tuition fee waivers for Foundation, Diploma, and Bachelor’s Degree programmes from May 2025 to January 2026. Guided by our mission “To Provide Affordable Quality Higher Education For An Enriching Future,” these initiatives are designed to help more students access quality higher education and make informed decisions about their academic future.
