Kota Kinabalu: Local entrepreneurs from Sabah are being encouraged to promote their homemade products abroad, particularly in China, where opportunities continue to grow across halal and non-halal sectors.
With a Muslim population of over 30 million in a nation of over 2 billion, the Chinese market holds promise for diverse offerings from Sabah.
The call was made by Datuk Frankie Liew, President of the Sabah China Chamber of Commerce (SCCC), during the promotion of local products at DS Mart, a newly opened outlet in Kolombong targeting group tours and foreign visitors.
