IOI City Mall is turning New Year’s Eve into an unforgettable night with Konsert
Countdown KITA 2026, a high-energy street-style concert experience packed
with star-studded performances, interactive fan zones, and a sky-filling
fireworks show lighting up the Putrajaya skyline at midnight.
This year, IOI City Mall teams up with
Astro to deliver an immersive entertainment extravaganza featuring some of
Malaysia’s biggest stars, including Ella, Alleycats, Faizal Tahir, Amir Masdi,
Hael Husaini, Nadeera, ALPHA, KLP48, Darkkey, Geraldine Gan, Nicole Lai, and
crowd-favourite talents from Astro hit programmes including Gegar Vaganza, The
Chosen One XTRA, and Aattam.
“New Year’s Eve is a moment for all
Malaysians to come together. With Astro’s KITA, we want to celebrate unity,
diversity, and the stories that connect us all,” said Chris Chong, IOI

year’s line-up brings together the best of Malaysian entertainment in one
shared celebration to welcome 2026 in style.”

Night Where Malaysia Comes Together
The 2026
countdown entertainment begins at 4pm, as ERA presenter Haziq Hussni
hosts the evening and hypes the crowd through a lively mix of music, comedy,
and interactive activities including lucky draws with attractive prizes up for
grabs.
Highlighting
the pre-concert segment is Malaysian idol group KLP48, delivering a
high-energy performance that’s sure to get the crowd going. Iaman, Saputra
& Naqiu from The Chosen One XTRA, as well as fan-favourite performers from
shows like Astro Star Quest, Gegar Vaganza, Talk to My Manager, Big Stage
(Tamil), and Aattam will also be hyping the evening.
Konsert Countdown KITA 2026: Together in Rhythm and Spirit
At 10pm,
Konsert Countdown KITA 2026 takes centre stage at IOI City Mall to welcome 2026
in style. Hosted by comedian and entertainer Nabil Ahmad, radio and TV
personality Yoon Ng, and talk show host Revathy Mariappan,
audiences can expect a dynamic mix of entertainment, laughter, and live
performances. True to KITA’s mission, the night celebrates Malaysian unity,
diversity, and shared stories, bringing together the nation’s most beloved
talents for a show-stopping lineup that will have audiences singing, dancing,
and creating unforgettable memories as they welcome the new year.
Bringing the
energy way up for the start of Konsert Countdown KITA 2026 is the standout
talents from Sing It Out Loud 2024. JunJun, the season’s winner
known for her heartfelt and emotionally charged performances. Adding to the
excitement, Tamil musician Darkkey Nagaraja will mesmerise audiences
with a stirring rendition of AK The Tiger, the Tamil OST for Good Bad Ugly.
Next, singer
and composer Faizal Tahir delivers a powerhouse set of his greatest
hits, joined by Nicole Lai and Ruhan Ravindran for a special
performance of Gemuruh, celebrating the spirit of Malaysian togetherness.
Legendary rock icons Alleycats will thrill fans with a selection of
their timeless classics, delighting audiences across generations.
The evening
continues to dazzle with performances from Malaysian sensations ALPHA, Amir
Masdi, Geraldine Gan, Nadeera, Hael Husaini, and the legendary Queen of
Rock - Ella. Together, these acts showcase an exciting lineup that embodies
the best of Malaysian talent, unity, and creativity, keeping the crowd
energised right up to the final moments.
As the clock
strikes midnight, a 10-minute-and-1-second fireworks display will light up the
night sky, creating an iconic IOI moment shared by all as 2026 begins.
