STUDENTS who sat for the STPM or equivalent examinations have been waiting patiently to know their fate. They would have had sleepless nights. You need not torture yourself further.
You know your results by 12 noon on the September 6, 2024. We will all pray and hope that everyone is successful. Whether it is good or bad, you need to accept it.
Those of you who are not satisfied can still appeal. It is still not the end of the world.

If you receive an offer letter you must confirm acceptance by the 15th September 2024. If you did not get an offer letter or you wish to appeal go to: https://upu.mohe.gov.my/.
You are given 10 days to appeal.

If you didn’t get the university you requested for, it is too bad. Sometimes you don’t get what you want. You have to learn to appreciate what you get. All IPTAs are government funded.
Some are new universities and some are a few decades old. The old universities have its own reputation. But if you refer to the university ranking, even new universities are sometimes better than the old ones. But the final choice is yours.
If you didn’t get the course you wanted, again it is too bad.
You may have asked for a particular course but UPU may have given you another alternate course.
There must be a reason why they decided to counter offer you. Read about the course which they offered to you. Is it related to what you applied for or is it completely new?
Some new courses are introduced because the country needs expertise in that field. It may not be very popular at the moment but there may be a need in the future.
But the final choice is yours.
If you were not offered any place at IPTAs, you still have a chance. You can appeal as soon as possible (within 10 days).
Not everyone who is offered a place accepts the offer.
Some would have got other plans to study elsewhere.
Some would have got a scholarship to study abroad. Some may have opted for a different course. If there are no takers, they may decide to offer to you.
You would only be considered if you send in your appeal letter. So, please appeal.
Last but not least, if you were rejected, don’t give up hope. This is not the end of the world.
