iQOO Malaysia has launched their latest gaming flagship smartphone sporting the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. The iQOO 13 is only the second phone in the country boasting Qualcomm’s flagship CPU, the first being the realme GT 7 Pro.
Supplementing the Snapdragon 8 Elite is iQOO’s proprietary chipset, the Supercomputing Chip Q2. According to iQOO, this will help the phone support 2K resolution and 144fps frame rate for gaming.
For displays, the iQOO 13 features a 6.82-inch 8T LTPO display with 2K resolution (1440×3168), a 144Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 4500 nits.
The device is equipped with a 6,150mAh battery and supports 120W wired charging.
Performance specs aside, the rear camera setup includes a 50MP IMX921 main sensor, a 50MP telephoto lens, and a 50MP ultra-wide lens, while the front houses a 32MP camera for selfies.
The iQOO 13 is available in two color options: Legend (white) and Alpha (black), both inspired by BMW M Motorsport. Two configurations are offered in Malaysia:
- 16GB+512GB variant priced at RM3,699.
- 12GB+256GB variant (online exclusive) priced at RM3,499.
Pre-orders are open until December 6, 2024. Customers who pre-order can enjoy free gifts valued at up to RM1,410. These include iQOO TWS 1e earbuds, two years of screen crack protection, and an extended 1+2 year warranty.
