Iranian and Turkish foreign ministers hold talks on bilateral ties, regional security, and the recent US-Israeli military actions against Iran.

TEHRAN: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan (pic) discussed bilateral relations and regional developments in a phone call.

According to the Mehr News Agency, Araghchi detailed what he termed the “heinous crimes” committed during five days of US-Israeli aggression against Iran.

He stated that Iran’s armed forces would respond to these actions with their “utmost power and strength.”

Araghchi asserted that Iran is targeting US and Israeli military bases in the region, actions he claimed are in accordance with international law.

He also emphasised the importance of enhanced Iran-Turkey cooperation to safeguard regional security and stability.

The Iranian minister highlighted the need to confront what he described as sinister plots orchestrated by Israel against regional countries.
