Iranian state media has claimed there is a $10 million bounty on Barron Trump, President Donald Trump’s 20-year-old son, according to a new report nearly six months into the U.S. war with Iran.
Footage broadcast on Channel 3, which is linked to Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, was titled “Where and how should we kill Barron Trump?” Euronews reported Monday.
It reportedly displayed the location of his university, as well as Secret Service positions and escort vehicles, while claiming his whereabouts were “fully monitored.”
The clip also claimed that an unnamed young woman had evaded Secret Service protection, met privately with Barron Trump and relayed information about him to the video’s creators. It also claimed he uses Xbox to communicate privately.
Euronews reported that it did not independently verify the claims. The Independent has contacted the White House for comment.
Barron Trump, the president’s youngest son and his only child with First Lady Melania Trump, is a college student. Compared to the president’s other sons, he has kept a relatively low public profile. He has attended some official events, including the president’s UFC cage match at the White House in June and the State of the Union address at the Capitol in February.
This is not the first time he has been targeted by Iran. Last month, an Iran-linked video threatened both Barron Trump and the first lady. The clip, titled “Where to kill Melania” shows a mock up of the first lady’s motorcade and calls on “freedom fighters” to take action against her. It concludes with: “Barron Trump, wait for us!”
“The Secret Service is aware of the video and investigates anything that can be perceived as a threat toward our protectees,” an agency spokesperson told Newsweek.

The president also has faced repeated threats from Iran over the years, with U.S. officials warning that Tehran and its proxies could seek retaliation for his 2020 order to kill Iranian General Qassem Soleimani. The threats have led to heightened security for Trump and several former members of his administration, though Iran has denied plotting to kill him.
This year, Asif Merchant, a Pakistani business owner, was convicted after authorities accused him of working on behalf of Iran with the intention of carrying out assassinations, with Trump being a target. And in 2024, federal authorities charged Farhad Shakeri, an Iranian national, with taking instructions to develop a plan to kill Trump.
Following the outbreak of the U.S.-Iran war, threats have intensified. At a NATO summit last month, Trump reportedly ditched Air Force One and departed Turkey on a military plane amid concerns about threats from Iran.
The 80-year-old president has said he has “left instructions” if he is killed by Iran “to just literally bomb them at levels that they’ve never seen before.”
The newly reported threat against Barron Trump comes as the U.S. war with Iran shows no signs of abating.
Early in the conflict, U.S. forces killed Iran’s longtime supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, along with multiple other senior officials. Trump has since claimed that so many Iranian leaders have been killed that there is “nobody” left to negotiate with.
To date, 18 U.S. service members have been killed in the war and hundreds more have been wounded, the Pentagon has said. Thousands of Iranians have been killed, according to HRANA, a U.S.-based human rights group.
Multiple recent polls indicate a majority of Americans are opposed to the war.
