Iran propaganda video depicts Trump in Super Mario consuming oil barrels

A propaganda video circulating on Iranian social media accounts appears to show Donald Trump depicted as a Super Mario character consuming oil barrels.

It comes as the United States and Iran continue to wrestle for control of the Strait of Hormuz, through which about a fifth of the world’s trade in oil and natural gas typically passes.

Footage circulating on social media shows a character, which appears to be based on the US president, jumping on oil barrels before eventually reaching one adorned an Iranian flag. The character is then launched on a rocket.
